LIBRARY PASSES
The Ansonia Library offers passes for free or discounted admissions to area museums and attractions.
Passes are first come first serve.
-You must be 18 years or older with a valid CT library card in good standing.
-Limit of one (1) pass per day per family.
-Passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance.
-Patrons must leave a $10.00 cash deposit, a copy of their picture ID and their library card at the time of pick up.
-Reservations are made for the date of visit to the museum. Patrons may pick up the pass on the day of the visit starting at 8:30am by using the handicapped entrance and ringing the bell. After 9:00 patrons may use the front entrance (for other arrangements please contact the Library). Pass must be returned the day of visit (passes can be returned in the library book return).
-There is a $5.00 per day overdue fine when a pass is not returned. After 3 days you will be charged the full cost of replacing the pass (regardless if pass is returned or not).
-An overdue pass may result in a block on your record to reserve future passes. Not returning a pass on time impacts the next reservation. All efforts will be made to contact you if your reserved pass has not been returned on time by the previous patron. However, the Library cannot take responsibility for passes that are returned late or lost. If a user fails to pick up their reserved physical passes twice in a 30 day period, they will be blocked from further reservations for 90 days. Users will be charged the full replacement cost in the case of a lost or unreturned passes.
