October Programs
Hello, boos and ghouls! This is your friendly Children’s Librarian here at the Ansonia Library, floating in with some fang-tastic news! Slither on over for a special visit from The Reptile Nook and visit with the nocturnal creatures they will be bringing along for Creatures in the Night! We’re brewing up something spook-tacular this month with our Halloween Costume Swap! Do you have a gently used costume that’s too small, too spooky, or just looking for a new trick-or-treater to haunt? Bring it to the Children’s Room, and we will give it a new home! It’s a great way to share the magic, save some ghoulish green, and help your fellow families get into the Halloween spirit. Whether we’re making tutus for teddy bears or whipping up Halloween goodies worthy of the show Nailed It!, we’ve got the fun covered. Pop in to see what crafty (and tasty!) magic we’re cooking up next because we’d love to “pumpkin-spice” up your October with books, crafts, and a cauldron full of fun!
November Programs
Hello, little turkeys and dinosaur fanatics!
November is here, and we’ve stuffed a ton of fun into the month!
Ansonia Schools are off on Nov. 4th for Election Day, but the library is open. Middle schoolers are invited to join us to show off their creativity and make something to bead thankful for!
I hope you're as excited as I am for the upcoming Jurassic Classroom program! Learn about all things prehistoric and rest assured that a dino-mite adventures await! (No bones about it—this one’s going to be roar-some!)
If bracelets and dinosaurs aren’t your thing, fear not! We’ve got storytimes, crafts, and even a Lilo & Stitch Paint & Sippy Cup event that’ll have you saying “Ohana means fun!”
So, bundle up, grab your favorite little reader, and turkey waddle down to the library because November is gourd-geous when spent with stories, friends, and a splash of imagination!
